Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the typical wait time?

On average our patients wait about 15 minutes.

Why choose an Urgent Care over ER?

An ER could treat any of the urgent care issues, it is not recommended because emergency rooms are busier and more expensive.

Why is Blue Rock Urgent Care better?

Blue Rock Urgent Care is completely focused on serving the people of Utah and the surrounding area. We have a family friendly environment. Blue Rock Urgent Care is associated with outstanding providers in our community who consult face-to-face with the patient during and after their procedures. We make the process as quick and as easy as possible. We also are a fraction of the cost compared to the hospitals.

Do you need an appointment to be seen at our clinic?

No. Patients never need an appointment to be seen at Blue Rock Urgent Care. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis within minutes of arriving at the clinic.

How does Blue Rock Urgent Care treat conditions requiring ongoing care and monitoring?

Blue Rock Urgent Care is not meant to take the place of a primary care physician. Patients are referred back to their primary care provider for ongoing care. Those without a primary care physician are referred to an area primary care provider currently accepting new patients.

What should I wear for my CT/MRI scan?

Dress comfortably, avoiding clothing with zippers, metal clasps or buttons. Women should wear a sports bra, or similar style without metal underwires or fasteners.
